Trekking in Nepal in the lower Solu Khumbu region is equally renowned as the famous home of the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest rising 8,848 meters towering into the sky in the upper Solu Khumbu. Lately the lower Solu region with unique trails of trekking and peak climbing in Nepal has seen immense growth in visitor’s number, largely due to its easy accessibility without having to bother about flight availability into the Everest region and also for its beaten path trails with not much tourist on it. The classic trek route that once used to be the trail head of Everest Expedition starting from Jiri is almost motor able to Bhandar, a second camp if not otherwise. In these treks you have the chance to follow Hillary’s footsteps and the interesting part on the trek around this area is not only stunning for natural landscape but also in view of study and discovery. The Lower Solu Khumbu area is full of distinguished religious monuments, heritage site enlightening total Buddhism faith and sensitive resources about the religion that offer motivating leads into Buddhist research.
