Overview

The Annapurna Wilderness is connected by an expansive network of trails that link the Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp or the Sanctuary treks. It is a shorter trek compared to Annapurna Circuit trek which can be cut short with a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. The last line of the trek is at Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m with 360-degree view of the range.  The ten days trek begins in the rain forest before heading into the high mountains. Several trails are marked to get to this unique trekking destination . This trek is also famously considered as a Annapurna Sanctuary trek with several trails to get to a junction where a single main trail finally leads the way. The trek starting almost from the plains of Pokhara traverses a variety of terrain, different cultures and landscapes in a very short time without having to contend with altitude problem.

Note: This is the only major trekking route in Nepal that has considerable avalanche danger and if you are a solo trekker make sure to follow safety guidelines.
