Overview

This is the highest altitude peak among the belonging Nepal Mountaineering 33 peaks.  It is situated between two famous trek regions Makalu region and Everest region. Though it is the highest peak according to altitude, mostly climbing parts are flat and little slope near the summit point. This peak can be easily climbed without mountaineering technique. We fly from Kathmandu to Luka and continue the trek via Chhutanga-crossing Chhetra La pass 4000m- Kothe-Thangnak until Khare 5000m which is known as Mera peak Base Camp. We can get simple tea houses from Lukla to Khare. Then, we have to install tented camp for one night in Mera High Camp 5700m to attack the Mera peak summit 6400m in early next morning with well equipped climbing gears. The climbers will enjoy with the splendid views of Everest Himalayan range, Makalu range, Kanchenjunga range, Choyu, Dudhkunda, Ghaurishankar, Lhotse etc.  We can have the finest views of 5 Himalayan peaks more than 8000m and other several peaks from the summit of Mera peak. Then, we descend to Luka in same route and fly back to Kathmandu. 

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: pick up from the Int'L Airport, transfer.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu, shopping and packing.

Day 03: Early morning flight to Lukla (2800m) Overnight in Lodge.

Day 04: Lukla to Chutenga (3350m) Camp.

Day 05: Chutenga to over Zatrela pass overnight at Chatrarbu (4340m).

Day 06: Chatrabu to Kothe (3700m) Camp.

Day 07: Kothe to Thagnak (4356m) Camp.

Day 08: Thanak Rest for Acclimatization Camp.

Day 09: Thanak to Khare (4900m) Camp.

Day 10: Khare to Mera La (5200m) For Glacier training & back to khare.

Day 11: Khare to Mera High Camp (5800m) Camp.

Day 12: High Camp to Mera Summit (6476m) & return back to Khare.

Day 13: A spare Day incase of Bad weather.

Day 14: Khare to Kothe Camp (3700m) Camp.

Day 15: Kothe to Chatrabu Camp (4340m) Camp.

Day 16: Chatrabu to Lukla overnight in Lodge (2800m) Lodge.

Day 17: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Day 18: Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 19: Transfer to International Airport and fly home.

Or (Including Everest Base camp via Amphulapcha pass).

Day 14: Rato Odar (5100m).

Day 15: Rato Ordar to Chamlang Base Camp (4700m).

Day 16: Chamlang B.C.to Seto Pokhari (4900m).

Day 17: Seto Pokhari to Amphulapcha Base Camp (5200m).

Day 18: Base Camp to over pass (5800m) camp in Chhukung Valley.

Day 19: Chukung Valley to Chukung (4700m).

Day 20: Chukung to Dingboche (4300m).

Day 21: Trek to Dingbuche (4410m).

Day 22: Trek to Lobuche (4910m).

Day 23: Trek to Gorakshep climbs to Everest Base Camp (5310m).

Day 24: Kala Pattar (5545m) Trek and back to Gorakshep.

Day 25: Trek to Pheriche (4240m).

Day 26: Trek to Tengbuche (4410m).

Day 27: Trek to Namche (3440m).

Day 28: Trek to Lukla (2840m).

Day 29: Fly to Kathmandu (1350m) transfer to Hotel.

Day 30: Free day for shopping or relax.

Day 31: Drive to Airport for return flight.

What's Include
  • All land transfer, arrival and departure as per the itinerary.
  • Hotel accommodation with bed and breakfast on Twin sharing basis as per the itinerary.
